The beef burger is incredibly well made with crunchy sourdough and juicy beef steak sourced from local region. The award-winning cherry rum tart is covered with crunch and a truly well-deserved delight."

"Cafe Dahinden is a quiet, unassuming place that is located about 8 minutes walk from the nearest ferry terminal in Weggis. You can get there by following the street along the lake, taking in the amazing view. The cafe itself does not have an extensive lunch menu, and there are only three main course-type meat dishes to choose from. All are excellent, though, with the homemade puff pastry pasties being a personal favourite. They come with sausage meatballs made of veal and are drenched in a delicious creamy sauce that brings everything together. Would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place to get a meal in Weggis. The cafe has a English menu, and the servers can converse fluently in English."

"This place has the most amazing view where the outdoor garden backs directly onto the lake. Giant beautiful boats go past while you sip of great coffee received by great service. It When we arrived it was raining and the outdoor part was closed. I asked if we could go outside anyway and the waitress dried all the table and chairs for us which was very nice. We have had cakes from here takeaway and they are delicious but if you have the time it's definitely worth expericing the lake views. 5*****"

"The service was great. It slowed down a bit when a lot of people came in about 10 to 15 minutes later but they did well for the number of employees vs the number of customers. The food was great as was the coffee. Highly recommended."

"Excellent food, beautiful scenery, relaxing atmosphere, very friendly staff = perfect lunch for Sunday. The ingredients for the dishes here are mostly coming from farms from the area near Weggis. Very fresh, very tasty dishes. The view is beautiful. Enjoying your meal watching ships passing by and hearing birds chirping is so relaxing. The pastries are very tempting."

"I came here three separate times during my week trip because of how amazing the food was. The menu is limited, but SO delicious. I highly suggest trying the burger, the meat puffs and/or the pulled pork. The staff is amazing as well! They speak German and English. They can even provide you with and English menu if that is your native tongue. You can sit inside or right by the water. The outside seating has a HUGE umbrella to keep it nice and cool. What a wonderful place"
